Our Code of Conduct
1. Respect for the Community, Facility and Others
- When traveling to and from the facility, please respect the area, residents, wildlife and community. Do not litter or drive at excessive speed along the lane accessing the site. Be mindful of walkers and equestrian activities.
- The facility is on a private property, therefore please minimise unnecessary noise generation including speeding or revving vehicles or loud music.
- Always treat fellow members, staff, and guests with courtesy and respect.
- Avoid any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, or disability – It will not be tolerated. This includes
- Using any offensive language, slurs, or making degrading comments to other members or our staff.
- Conducting in any campaign of Harassment, bullying, or intimidation against other members or our staff.
- Deliberately seeking to exclude or treat differently any individual or group of persons based on personal characteristics.
Members reported to management for any of the above will be subject to an immediate investigation with the possibility of a termination of membership.
2. Hygiene and Attire

All members, guests and visitors should play a part in maintaining a hygienic gym space.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Wear appropriate gym attire, including proper footwear, at all times.
- For safety and hygiene, closed toed footwear is requested at all times on the gym floor.
- Wiping down machines and equipment after use. Please spray the cloth or tissue provided and wipe equipment. Do not spray cleaning solution directly onto the machines.
- Disposing of waste responsibly. Please use the bins provided throughout the gym, in the changing and reception areas.
- Please do not leave personal belongings lying around. Appropriate bags can be kept with person on gym floor, otherwise please use the lockers provided. Personal belonging cannot be left in the lockers over night unless you have spoken to a member of staff.
- Wear appropriate gym attire, including proper footwear, at all times.
3. Gym Etiquette
- Respect the equipment, machine and facilities. Misuse of te equipment will result in warning or cancellation of membership.
- The use of tripods is allowed however please minimise use to individual top working sets for each exercise. If you wish to record more extensively, please speak to a member of staff or train at off peak times.
- If you wish to use a videographer. Please speak to and arrange with staff prior to attending the facility for your session.
- If filming, please be mindful of others and ask permission if they are in the picture.
- Share equipment and be mindful of time spent on machines when others are waiting.
- Return all equipment (weights, mats, etc.) to their designated area after use.
- Un-rack and replace weight plates after use.
- Do not lean bars or weights on mirrors.
- Follow staff instructions regarding equipment use and gym rules.
4. Safety and Health
- Report any malfunctioning equipment or unsafe conditions to staff immediately.
- Avoid using equipment or participating in activities beyond your personal ability or health limits.
- If pushing limits please ask for a member of staff or fellow member for a spot or assistance. We are a community and here to help each other.
- Respect all posted signs and warnings regarding gym protocols and equipment use.
5. Cleanliness
- Dispose of trash in designated bins and keep locker rooms tidy.
- Use disinfectant wipes on shared equipment after use to maintain hygiene.
- Please keep changing areas, toilets and showers in a respectable manner for other members.
6. Membership, Access, and Guests
- Always check in with your members app upon arrival.
- Please speak to staff in case of any membership or billing issues.
- Guests are welcome but must adhere to the same Code of Conduct.
- Staff do reserve the right to refuse/cancel membership if the code of conduct is not followed.
7. Substance Use
- The use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products is strictly prohibited within the facility.
8. Conflict Resolution
- Notify staff of any disputes or conflicts.
- Avoid engaging in confrontations; our staff are trained to handle such situations.
9. Compliance and Consequences
- Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of membership privileges.
Enforcement and Disciplinary Actions
- Violations of this policy or the Code of Conduct will be taken seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, Sanctum reserves the right to take the following actions:
- Verbal or Written Warning: For minor infractions, a warning may be issued to the member, outlining the behaviour and advising of the necessity for future compliance.
- Suspension of Membership: Repeated or more serious violations may result in a temporary suspension from the facility, during which the member will not be allowed access to any of the facilities
- Summary Termination of Membership: For significant violations, particularly those related to discrimination, harassment, or endangering the safety of others, Sanctum reserves the right to terminate the membership without notice or refund.
